Carolyn M. Norris

Carolyn M. Norris, 88, passed away on Friday, February 26, 2016. A Celebration of her Life will be held on Tuesday, March 1, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. Burial will be in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 1:00 p.m. to service time at the funeral home. Those who wish may make donations to Daybreak Homeless Center, 174 Walnut St., Macon GA 31201.

Mrs. Norris was born in Macon, Georgia to the late Charlie and Ola May Batson Moore. She was preceded in death by her husbands, George E. Williams and Cecil Norris. Mrs. Norris was a graduate of A.L. Miller High School and was retired after thirty years of service from Robins Air Force Base. She was a devoted and loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and aunt.

She is survived by her daughter, Elaine W. (Harry) Bowen of Macon, two granddaughters; Kim (Dan) Hinton of Culloden, Paige (Chris) McCallum of Victor, Idaho, five great grandchildren; Meghan King, Bryce King, Cole McCallum, Taylor McCallum, Sidney McCallum, three sisters; Fay Ellerbee, LaRue Babbitt, LaVelle Hedrick and brother; Emmett Lee Moore, and numerous nieces and nephews.
