Bobby Sherwood Murray

Bobby Sherwood Murray, 85, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, March 28, 2025. A celebration of his life will be held on Monday, March 31, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Snow’s Memorial Chapel, Bass Road. Burial will be at Christian Gathering Place, 6038 Hwy 42 N, Forsyth GA with Dr. Mark Hudgins and the Rev. Michael Murray officiating. The family will greet friends from 1:00 p.m. to service time at the funeral home.

Bobby was born in Macon, Georgia to the late Willie Coyle and Julia Barrett Murray. He was retired after forty years as a plant supervisor with General Tire and Rubber and worked for ten years with Bridgeman Mediquip. Bobby was a member of Ingleside Baptist Church. He was a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.

He is survived by his beloved wife of sixty-three years, Melanie Jones Murray of Macon, son, Michael (Carol) Murray of Monroe County, daughter, Michelle (Richard) Bridgeman of Macon, grandchildren, Ethan (Camille) Murray, Thomas Murray, Jacob (Savannah) Mikus, Julia Bridgeman, Jonah Bridgeman, great grandchildren, Evan Murray, Asher Murray, and Hosanna Murray.
