Beverly DeFore Shore, 76, passed away on Thursday, June 23, 2022. A celebration of her life will be held on Tuesday, June 28, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. Entombment will be in Macon Memorial Park Mausoleum with the Rev. Paul Dziadul officiating. The family will greet friends on Monday, June 27, 2022 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 804 Cherry St., Macon GA 31201.
Beverly was born in LaCrosse, Wisconsin to the late William H. and Louise Ryle DeFore. She was retired from Coliseum Northside Hospital as the night nursing supervisor and she was instrumental in the opening of the hospital. Beverly was a member of Wesleyan Drive Baptist Church and the UDC. She was an avid NASCAR fan, South Carolina Gamecocks and watching game shows. She was a devoted and loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.
She is survived by her daughters, Michelle Belvin and Dianna (Gelaine) Shore, grandchildren, Christopher A. Belvin, Cortlyn Belvin, Cameron Belvin, Maci Shore, and Savannah Shore, and great grandchildren, Jasper Taylor.
