Barbara Boothe Clark

Barbara Boothe Clark, 73, passed away Monday, March 16, 2015 at her home surrounded by her loving family. A celebration of her life will be held at 3:00 p.m., Thursday, March 19, 2015, in the chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home with burial in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. The Rev. Don Jenrette and the Rev. Alesia O’Reilly will officiate. The family will meet friends from 6 – 8 p.m., Wednesday, March 18, 2015 at the funeral home. They suggest that those who wish make memorial contributions to Hospice Care Options, 486 New Street, Macon 31201.

Mrs. Clark, wife of the late Charles Boggs and Asa F. Clark, was a lifelong resident of Macon and daughter of the late Lamar Barney Boothe and Bessie Emily Slaughter Boothe. She was preceded in death by her brother, Barney Boothe. Mrs. Clark was of the Baptist Faith and a dedicated homemaker who loved spending time with her family.

Survivors include those she loved most, her children, Charles Donald Boggs, Jr. (Jennifer Perkins) of Warner Robins, James Richard Boggs and Michael Eric Boggs, both of Macon and Warren Leslie Clark (Jennifer) of Warner Robins; six grandchildren, Richard, Dillion, Denise and Chris Boggs and Aubrey and Haley Clark; three great grandchildren, Keylee, Chris Boggs and Jace Boggs; sisters, Evelyn Sasnett (Richard), Fort Valley, Ann Jones (Travis), Columbia, SC and Bivi Hanna (Sid), Albuquerque, NM; nieces and nephews.
