Arlo Eugene Richard, 88, passed away on Wednesday, June 16, 2021. A memorial service and celebration of life will be held at 2:00PM on Tuesday, June 29, 2021 at Vineville Baptist Church, 2591 Vineville Ave, Macon, GA 31204.
Arlo was born in Jamestown, Kentucky to the late Homer D. and Eula Barker Richard. He was preceded in death by his sister, Olive Lowe. Arlo served his country in the United States Navy in the Korean Conflict. He worked for thirty years at Brown and Williamson and was a member of Vineville Baptist Church. He was a devoted and loving husband, father, and brother.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Shirley Foley Richard, daughter, Alesa Gail Richard Brookins and son-in-law, Tracey Brookins, cousin, Mariel Barker, step-grandson, Trey Brookins.
