Ann Grantham, 80, passed away on Friday, November 24, 2023. A celebration of her life will be held on Wednesday, November 29, 2023 at Snow’s at Macon Memorial Park at 1:00 pm with Father Ben R. Wells officiating. The family will greet friends from 12:00 pm until service time. Interment will follow the service at Macon Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Francis Episcopal Church, 432 Forest Hill Rd, Macon, Ga 31210 or to Friends of the Library, 5494 Forsyth Rd, Macon, Ga 31210.
Ann Grantham was born in Napier field, Alabama to the late PVT. Wade Leslie Vaughn and Zelma Louise Vaughn. During her 33 years of service in the field of education, Ann worked in Clayton County and Henry County school districts before retiring as the Director of Media Service from the Bibb County Board of Education. She was a dedicated member of St. Francis Episcopal Church and served as an active member of the Georgia Association of Instructional Technology for many years. In retirement she enjoyed visiting family and traveling internationally with friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Wilton Grantham.
Mrs. Grantham is survived by her three children, Michelle Lenderman (Richie), Jay Grantham (Lorena), Audrey Arnold (Paul); grandchildren, Richard Lenderman (Danielle), Hannah Artrip (Jordan), Morgan Puckett (Jake), David Arnold (Amanda), Kelly Wolters (Jarod); 15 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
