Albert P. Bohannon

Albert P. Bohannon, 73, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, July 9, 2014 at his residence. A Celebration of his Life will be held, graveside on Saturday, July 12, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. The Reverend Monty Febuary will officiate. The family will greet friends Friday, July 11, 2014 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. The family suggests that those who wish may make donations to Compassionate Care Hospice, 4931 Mercer University Drive, Suite A, Macon, GA 31210.

Mr. Bohannon was born in Eastman, Georgia to the late Mr. and Mrs. Bohannon. He was preceded in death by his wife, Berdia Jean Swearingain. He loved to hunt and fish and provide for his family. He was a devoted and loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, great-grandfather, and great-great-grandfather.

He is survived by his sons, Rodney (Terry) Bohannon and Joey Allan (Janice) Bohannon, both of Byron; daughter, Lisa (Chuck) Confer of Kathleen; seven grandchildren, Justin Bohannon, Josh Bohannon, Billy Bohannon, Bradley (Crystal) Rahn, Johnathan Smyth, Tosha (Mike) McCandless, and Nikki (Tim) Merth; eight great grandchildren, Alex, Savannah, Destiny, Timothy, Angel, Scott, Brittany, and Victoria; and two great great-grandchildren, Samuel and Zachary; sister, Effie Roger; brother, Dale Bohannon; several nieces and nephews.
