Vera M. Jennings

Belvidere Ill, Vera M. Jennings, 97, of Rockford Ill, died Sunday October 9, 2016. She was born June 9, 1919 in Des Arc, Missouri to Harry and Thresia King Smith. In her younger years Vera and her family lived in many places most of them in Missouri. In 1937 Married she the love of her life James Floyd, together they moved to Rockford in 1947. She was employed at Amrock for over 30 years where she was able to attain her GED at the age of sixty-five.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband James Floyd Jennings, ;sons, James Alvin Jennings, and Truman Lee Jennings.

Survivors include her daughter, Harrietta M. Terrell (Alvin H.) of Machesney Park Ill.; Grandchildren, Ivan Lee Jennings of La., Jimmy Allen Jennings of La., Edward James Jennings of La., Truman Lee (Buddy) Jennings of La., Billy Daniel Jennings of La., Lisa Jennings De Velle of La., Robbie Jennings of La., Jenifer Jennings-Stevenson of La., Joseph Alvin (Julie) Terrell of Mich., Cary Jennings Baglio of Nav., John Floyd Jennings of La., Tonya Hauseman of Tex., and Traci Perreira of Calif. as well as numerous great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
