Teresa E. Nichols-Gustafson, 60, of Machesney Park, Illinois passed away on November 15, 2021. Teresa was born on February 16, 1961 in Smyrna, Tennessee to Grady and Lillian Stevenson. Teresa moved to the Rockford area at a young age and graduated from Rockford East High School in 1979. Shortly after graduating Teresa completed courses that allowed her to have a successful career as a dental assistant for over 30 years. On August 13, 2000 she married the love of her life Brad Gustafson in Ocho Rios, Jamaica. Teresa enjoyed crafting and gardening but there was nothing she loved more than taking care of and spending time with her family.
Teresa is survived by her husband, Brad Gustafson; daughter, Tosha (Devin Boyles) Nichols; sisters, Mary (Cliff) Whipkey and Victoria (Terry Matus) Nichols; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Gary Stevenson.
