Robert "Bob" A. Chrzanowski

Robert A. “Bob” Chrzanowski, 86, of Loves Park, IL, passed away peacefully, Thursday evening, May 4, 2023 at OSF St. Anthony Medical Center. Bob was born March 20, 1937 in Detroit, MI, the son of Anthony R. and Victoria M. (Cichocki) Chrzanowski. He married his sweetheart, Judith Szpotek, on May 17, 1958 in Detroit, MI. Bob worked as a distribution manager for various companies throughout his career including Jovan, Inc. until retiring in 1999. He was a faithful member of St. Bridget’s Catholic Church in Loves Park. Bob played the trumpet in his younger years. He enjoyed gardening, fishing and listening to music. Bob loved watching golf, the Chicago Cubs and Chicago Bears. Most of all, Bob adored spending time with his family.

Bob is loved and missed by his wife of 64 years, Judy; children, Cheryl (Ray) Bogdanowski, Keith (Robbi) Chrzanowski, Ken Chrzanowski, Craig Chrzanowski, Kevin (Tracie) Chrzanowski, and Kirk (Melissa) Chrzanowski; grandchildren, Jennifer (Frank) Gonzalez, Erin Bogdanowski, Rob (Deanna) Bogdanowski, Kyle (Alaina) Chrzanowski, Corey Chrzanowski, Courtney Chrzanowski, Adam Chrzanowski, Carissa Boehne, Meghan (David) Riemer, Lily Chrzanowski, Claire Chrzanowski, Ada Chrzanowski; great-grandchildren, Olivia, Ciara, Gavin, Angelina, Camila, Reed, Coby, Trae, Chloe, Bobby, Keith and Wyatt. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Gloria Radlinger.

A visitation will be held from 4:00-8:00 p.m., Thursday, May 11, 2023 at Sunset Funeral Home, 8800 N. Alpine Rd, Machesney Park, IL 61115 with a visitation continuing from 10:00-11:00 a.m., Friday, May 12, 2023, at St. Bridget’s Catholic Church, 600 Clifford Ave, Loves Park, IL 61111 with a Funeral Mass to begin at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
