Norma Lee Johnson

ROSCOE, IL. Norma L. Johnson, 85, devoted wife and loving mother, stepped into heaven this 6th day of October, 2015. Born May 19, 1930, in Paxton, Illinois. Daughter of Ernest F. and Cynthia C. Trotter. Married Richard K. Johnson on December 28, 1950 and shared 65 years together while raising their six children. Norma was a homemaker and made a career out of loving and caring for her family.

Survived by Husband, Richard K. Johnson; daughters, Jana Beck (Randy), Kimberly Clark (Mike), Lynn Ecimovich; sons, Mark Johnson (Sharon) and David Johnson; ten grandchildren, Ryan, Audra, Chelsea, Amanda, Mindy, Kenni, Madeleine, Chloe, Kaylee and Joseph; two step grandchildren, Emily and Luke; eight great grandchildren, Austin, Waylon, Adelynn, Mahryn, Emory, Jordan, Makenna, and Avery; Daughter-in-law, Diane Johnson; sisters, Voyna Rickon and Nova James. Predeceased by parents, son, Kirk Johnson; brother, Cappy Trotter.

Funeral Service at 3 p.m. Saturday, October 10, 2015 at Sunset Funeral Home 8800 N. Alpine Rd. Machesney Park, IL. Visitation: 2 p.m. until time of service. Private Burial in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Guests are welcome to a luncheon following the service in the fellowship room of the funeral home.
