Constance Dawn Myers

Constance worked for Rockford Public School District as a secretary until her retirement in 2018. She enjoyed attending the retired lady luncheons with her former coworkers. Constance loved her family. She had a very special bond with her aunt Roselyn (Rosie) Hilton. She watched Constance from birth until she was old enough not to have a sitter while her parents worked. She considered her Aunt Rosie as a second mom, much like she became later in her life. Aside from the love of her life, her son Trevor, “Mommy Connie” got to be a much loved bonus mom to Kaylynn, Miranda and Lucas. She loved spending time with her family during get-togethers, birthdays and holidays, but Halloween was her absolute favorite. She loved anything spooky or scary, from Steven King to horror movies. She even had a black cat named Spooky. Constance will be deeply missed by all those who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her son, Trevor Heidenreich; sister, Jaimie Nelson; beloved nephews, Matthew and James; Trevor’s father, Glenn (Pamela) Heidenreich; bonus children Kaylynn (Dylan) Heidenreich, Miranda (Lazarus) Heidenreich, and Lucas (Sam) Wagner. She was preceded in death by her parents, Dale and Gladys Nelson; many aunts and uncles; and her adored cat Spooky.
