Celebration of Life Services for Stephen Mark Littell, 68, of Ennis, Texas, will be held at Eubank Cedar Creek Funeral Home in Mabank, Texas. Steve was born on January 12, 1956, in Hagersville, Ontario, Canada to Charles Myron Littell and Florence Louise (Sweany) Littell. Steve lived in Southern Indiana/Ohio area until the age of 14 before moving to the Philippines with his family and resided there until he completed high school. Steve's parents served the Lord as missionaries.
Steve was a devoted servant of the Lord, fulfilling many roles throughout his life. He led praise services, sang, played guitar, taught Sunday School, led youth groups, and conducted Bible studies. Above all, he raised his children in a strong church community. Steve was also a craftsman, as evident by many porch swings, gazebos, benches, tree houses, picture frames, decks, aviaries, and various home remodels he built. Steve was always willing to use his professional skills to help anyone, anywhere, at anytime. His kindness touched everyone he met. Steve had a deep love for water activities, enjoying water skiing and boating with his family and letting his dogs be co-captains on their adventures. He also had a passion for collecting hats, knives, and guitars. Steve’s friendly, kind, and humble nature meant he never met a stranger; he always found someone to chat with wherever he went.
Steve is preceded in death by his brother, Matthew Littell, and his parents, Charles and Florence Littell.
He is survived by his beloved wife of almost 35 years, Kathy; his sons, David of Ennis, and Michael of Corsicana, TX; Adam and his wife of New Philadelphia, Ohio; and his daughter, Shannon and her husband of Boston, Massachusetts. He also leaves behind his grandchildren, Tegan, Blake, Daniel, and Eli along with many nieces, nephews, and other beloved family members that will cherish his memory forever.
Steve's legacy of love, kindness, and devotion to his family and friends will forever be cherished by those whose lives he touched. Steve was loved by all who knew him, and he will be deeply missed.
