Shirley Ann Anthony, passed away peacefully in her home on October 23, 2022 at the age of 74. She left us with a smile on her face, surrounded by family, knowing that the love of her life was waiting for her at Heavens Gate.
She was born on September 30, 1948, to William & Thelma Slaton, in Deport, Tx. She married the love of her life, L.B. Anthony Jr. on April 26, 1968. She worked as a Real Estate Agent in Kaufman County for many years, where she loved her job and helping families find their dream home. She won many awards, including a "Million Dollar Seller Award." She truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures like dancing to loud rock music and kicking butt at pool and darts. Also, her love of plants and the ability to keep them alive. Not to mention she is a huge Dallas Cowboys and Stars fan, she is definitely cheering for them in Heaven. However her favorite things are being with her family and watching a good thunderstorm. She has an infectious smile and contagious laugh. She is an amazing, unique woman. She always saw the good in people and her door was always open to anyone, no matter what. She leaves an impression on everyone she meets, she is deeply loved by all. She will be greatly missed.
Shirley is survived by her mother, Thelma, 98, of Mesquite; her daughter, Kellie, and husband, Max, of the Woodlands; her daughter, Kristi, and her partner, Chad, of Coppell; her granddaughter, Lauren, and husband, Kevin, of Dallas; her grandson, Pearson, of Kaufman; grandson, Gavin, of Lubbock; grandchild, Lexi (Liam), of Coppell; her brother, Rusty, of Mesquite; and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
She is preceded in death by her husband, L.B. (Junior); daughter, Tana; father, William; and her big brother, baby boy Slaton.
