Sandra Charlene Barrett was born September 22nd, 1954 in Dallas, TX & went home to be with the Lord on May 20th, 2023 in Mabank, TX. Sandra, or Sandy as everyone knew her, was a loving soul with a big heart. Sandy was preceded in death by her parents, E.W. and Norma Hendley, her soulmate Eddie Barrett, her beloved daughter Chanda McVey, brothers Mickey and Rickey Hendley, and sisters Bobbie Kennon and Wanda McBride. Sandy is survived by her son Dustan Barrett, and wife Tiffany, of Mabank, her brother Alfred Hendley, and wife Donna, of Leesburg, her grandchildren Karissa Breckel of Kemp and Chandler Barrett of Mabank. As well as many brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends. Being friends with Sandy meant being like family to her. She loved big and went out of her way to make people see how much she cared for them. She was a woman of uncommon grace that would sacrifice for herself to see a smile on someone else's face. She will always be loved and missed by so many, but we rejoice in knowing she is with her Lord and everyone that went before her.
A visitation for Sandra will be held Wednesday, May 24, 2023 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Eubank Cedar Creek, 601 S. 3rd Street, Mabank, Texas. A funeral service will occur Thursday, May 25, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Eubank Cedar Creek.
Serving as Honorary Pallbearers are Edward Barrett, Dilan House, Alfred Hendley, Chad Hendley, Rickey Hendley II and Cody Hendley.
