Richard was born on January 29, 1963 in Dallas, Texas to parents Eddie Noel and Allene (Turlington) Sutton and entered into eternal rest on August 24, 2018 at the age of 55. Richard graduated from Mabank High School in 1981 and received a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism from Texas A & M Commerce. He was a very sweet and giving man. Richard was competitive and loved playing games. He enjoyed listening to music, dancing, woodworking, photography and writing poetry. Richard was a big sports fan of the Rangers and Cowboys; he could give you all the stats on each team. He loved being on the lake and enjoyed spending time with his family. Richard was an amazing son, father, grandfather and brother. He will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved him.
Richard was preceded in death by his father Eddie Sutton and son Joshua Sutton.
He is survived by his daughter Kandace Hass and husband Aaron Hass of Garland, daughter Lindsay Perez and husband Nolberto of Quinlan, grandchildren; Asher and Harper Hass, mother Allene Sutton of Gun Barrel City, brother Steve Sutton and wife Kristi of Celeste, many other loving family members and a host of lifelong friends.
