Margaret “Maggie” Louise Talbot, 82, of Malakoff, passed at her home with her family on June 12, 2023. She was born April 24, 1941 in Los Angeles, California to her late parents Lee Newman Amos and Betty Ann Mellon Amos.
Maggie moved to Carrollton, Texas in 1969 and worked for Rochester Gauges until retirement. She was a devoted mother and enjoyed cooking her famous Maggie’s slop and jalapeno corn bread for her family. Maggie was also a member of the Ladies Auxiliary in the Carrollton American Legion.
Maggie is survived by her children; Matthew Nevan Garner, Dennis Eugene Garner, Anita K,. Shaver, Bruce Wayne Garner, Reba Sue Farr, siblings; John Robison, Meery Irene Powell, Paul Stephen Robison, Joseph Wayne Robison, Janie Helen Moody, and many grandchildren, family and friends. Maggie is predeceased by her husband; George Frederick Talbot, Jr., son; James Edward Garner, brother; David Bruce Robison, and sister; Betty Lee Phillips.
