Donna Kay Moulder was born on October 30, 1952 in Ennis, Texas to parents Joe Andrew and Pauline (Hill) Bankston and entered into eternal rest on October 28, 2018 at the age of 65. Donna graduated from Spruce High School in Pleasant Grove. She worked as a CNA for 30 plus years at Dallas Charter and Kaufman Hospital. Donna was a Saint; selfless and always giving. She was very family oriented and believed that family was most important. Donna loved being outdoors; being on the beach, fishing and drag racing. She loved going to concerts; especially classic rock. Donna was an amazing mother, grandmother and sister, who will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Donna was preceded in death by her parents, sister “PeeWee” Betty Elliott, brothers; Joe and Ed Bankston, brother-in-law Lavern Elliott, sister-in-law Darlene Bankston, nephews; Keith Myers and Jody Elliott.
She was survived by her son Steven Samford of Mabank, daughter Tina Sallings and husband Marcus of Mabank, son Michael Samford and wife Syndi of Wills Points, son Josh Moulder of Mabank, grandchildren; Daisy Nicholas, Dakota Nicholas, Trinity Samford, Toni Rae Followwell, Trenten Samford, Traeven Samford, Joshua Moulder II and Mason Moulder, brothers; John Bankston and wife Rosie of Kaufman and Marvin Bankston of Ennis, numerous nieces, nephews, other loving family members and many more lifelong friends.
