William C Cramer

Bill passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 25, 2011, with his family at his side. He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Cramer, and son Matthew Cramer. He is survived by his children: Susan Coumaros, Catherine Baird (Scott), Janet Johnson (Dennis), James Cramer (Sandy), Robert Cramer (Heidi), and Carolyn Connelly (Arnie). Bill had 16 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Bill graduated from Roosevelt High School and the University of Washington. He was in the United States Army and the U.S. Army Reserves for over twenty years. Bill had a long career, working for the Department of Community Development for the City of Seattle, as the Civilian Base-Head of F.E. Warren U.S. Air Force Base in Cheyenne, Wyoming, and as an Industrial Engineer for Boeing. Bill retired from Boeing in 1999.

Bill was a beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend to many. Helping others was a passion for Bill. As a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, the St. Vincent DePaul Society and Catholic Community Services, Bill believed in giving back and helping those less fortunate than himself. He loved his family and was always there to listen, give advice and let them all know how loved they were.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be sent to Mended Hearts or St. Vincent DePaul.
