She was born to Gene and Beverly Scalf on December 29, 1958. After graduating high school, she worked for Verizon “GTE” for nearly 29 years. During this time, she met and married Cliff Bullard and was welcomed into the family by his two young children Kevin and Allison. Not long after marriage Vickie and Cliff had their daughter, Whitney, in 1986. After her years at Verizon, she established her own consulting business and then worked for Frontier Communications in Montana from 2009-2012 as a General Manager until she retired there. Vickie didn’t stop there, she then purchased “Hoofbeat Blankets” which was an Equine laundry business and ran that for several years. In 2018 Vickie became a realtor for Keller Williams where she was building a team of agents up until her death.
Vickie was known to love her animals, especially her horses. Vickie competed in team penning and ranch sorting where she won multiple events and belt buckles. She was an active member on the Fair Advisory Board from 2004-2009 and from 2013-2021 and served as the Chair of the Fair Rodeo Committee. Vickie was one of the founding members of the Evergreen Fair Foundation and she was a great asset to the fair and community.
Vickie really enjoyed a wide array of activities and wasn’t afraid to get her hands dirty. She loved clam digging, camping and anything outdoors, but she also loved shopping, getting her nails done, and of course collecting pink lipstick. But more than anything, Vickie loved her family and always put them first above all else. She touched the lives of so many and is deeply missed.
Vickie is survived by her husband, Ivan “Drew” Andrew; brother, James Scalf (Sharon); sister, Carol Brown; daughter, Whitney Vanhulle (Trent), step children, Allison Bullard, Kevin Bullard (Carol), Dana Darby - Eoff, Jennifer Caple (Nick), Kristine Maxwell (Brandon), Abby Standar (Joe), Katie Thomas (Matt); and a total of 12 grandchildren.
