

Born on January 6, 1974, in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Mireille was a radiant soul – joyful, optimistic, and full of life. She was passionate about her family, her friends, and church community.
Mireille's faith was the cornerstone of her life. A devoted Christian, she found deep joy in worship. She carried her faith in the way she loved others – with kindness, patience, and an open heart. From strangers to loved ones, Mireille treated everyone with warmth and generosity.
From a young age, Mireille had a passion for knowledge, which inspired her to learn five languages. She loved reading, traveling, and gardening. Mireille was also an incredible cook, known especially for her world’s best samosas. Above all, she cherished time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren, who lovingly called her “Meme” [May-May].
Mireille is survived by her devoted husband of 32 years, John Kwesele; her children, Sandra, Brad, Yannick, and Eneya; her grandchildren, Elimu, Etana, Ezra, Safiya, and Kai; along with a host of extended family members and dear friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Josephine.
Mireille was a joy to all who knew her. Her wisdom, love, and the cherished memories shared will remain a guiding light in the lives of those who loved her. A funeral service for Mireille will be held Monday, March 31, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Sonrise Christian Center, 11625 Airport Rd, Everett, WA 98204. Following the funeral service will be a graveside service at 2:00 PM at Purdy & Walters at Floral Hills, 409 Filbert Road, Lynnwood, WA 98036.
