Eldora V. Ball passed away Jan.10, 2013. She was born in Irby in Eastern WA on Sept. 29, 1918. She graduated from Odessa High School. She married Charles Ball May 15, 1943. The couple raised their family in Seattle. Eldora was a homemaker and Charles drove truck for Safeway. They opened “Balls Barn” near Smokey Point where they operated an auction for 10 years. During this time they moved out near Lake Goodwin. Eldora, now a widow, lived there for over 20 years alone. She had many hobbies: oil painting, gardening, crocheting and sewing. After her 80th birthday she moved into Everett. At the time of her death she was living with her daughter in Everett. Eldora is survived by her children; Terry Ball (Wanda) of Lynnwood and Teresa Oppie (Kalani) of Everett. She also leaves 7 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1983 and daughter, Leora Hammack in 2008. Memorials may be made to a charity of your choice
