William J. Middleton

William “Bill” J. Middleton, age 70, of Lynn passed away on Thursday, November, 30, 2023. He was the beloved husband of Barbara (Grant) Middleton with whom he shared 52 years of marriage. Born in 1953, to the late James and Josephine (Bencale) Middleton. He grew up in Lynn and attended Lynn Vocational Technical High School and he proudly served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War.

He was the devoted father of Jodi (Middleton) Ditchfield and her husband Stephen of Peabody and William Middleton II and his wife Kerriann of Bradford, the loving grandfather to Lily, Payton, Stephen, and Grace Ditchfield, the brother of Susan Middleton of Raymond NH and he was predeceased by his brother, Joseph Middleton, and his sister Debra (Middleton) Greenleaf, and the uncle to several nieces and nephews.

He raised his family in Lynn, and enjoyed Boston Sports and riding his Harley Davidson Motorcycle, but most of all he loved his family. He cherished his time with them and was the one you could always count on if you needed something.

Visiting Hours will be held on Thursday, December 7, 2023 from 10:00 am - 11:00 am in the Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home, 157 Maple Street, Lynn. His Funeral Service will begin at 11:00 am. Burial to immediately follow at Pine Grove Cemetery.
