Tyler was the beloved son of Martin M. and Cara A. McDonough of Lynn, twin brother Ryan J. McDonough and girlfriend Sydney Giordano, loving younger sister Madison M. McDonough, big brother Brandon J. McDonough of Ft. Collins, CO, and best furry buddy Spartan who was always by his side.
He leaves behind his cherished grandfather Martin J. McDonough, late grandmother Catherine G. McDonough, grandfather Robert J. A. Leger, and late grandmother Ann M. Leger all of Lynn. Auntie Teri, cousins McKenzie and Austin. His late Uncle Shawn, and cousin Angelina. Auntie Dannielle, Scott, cousins Andrew and David. Auntie Erin, Uncle Branor, cousins Jason, Brianna, and Lidia. Along with his loving great aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He grew up in Lynn and graduated from KIPP Academy Lynn Collegiate, class of 2015. He was quickly treasured by staff and faculty. Following high school Tyler attended the Rosewood Day Program and support work program at Northeast Shredding; where they both helped him achieve life enrichment skills. Tyler also volunteered at the animal shelter.
He loved his time with Grandpa Ziggy playing cards, and enjoyed breakfast at Charlie’s Junction with his Grampie and the gang. We can not forget sleepovers, motorcycle rides, and fishing on the boat with Uncle Chuck, Helen, Ryan-Austin, and Eli. Growing up Tyler enjoyed playing games with his siblings, cousins, and many friends. He used to cook with his Nana Banana and Nana Ziggy which began a healthy appetite for home cooking and watching the Food Network. He participated in many Lynn Youth sports. Tyler loved: family gatherings, vacations, shopping, camping, and swimming in the pool. He was known for his quick wit, infectious smile, kind and compassionate spirit.
