Nancy Woodward

Mrs. Nancy (McIntosh) Woodward, 76, of Lynn died Saturday, June 28, 2014 in the Kaplan Family Hospice House surrounded by her loving family after a brief illness. She was the loving wife of the late Herbert “Woody” Woodward.

Nancy was born in Lynn, daughter of the late William F. and Margaret E. (McPhie) McIntosh. She was a graduate of Lynn English High School Class of 1956. She was a lifelong resident of the City.

Nancy worked at the former Randy’s Clothing Store and Mary Brennan’s Card Store.

She was a great cook and enjoyed having family and friends at her home. She also enjoyed camping with her family.

She is survived by her four children Tom D. Woodward and his wife Robin of Brentwood, NH, Donald J. Woodward and his wife Diane of Lynn, Karen A. Burrell and her husband Kevin of Lynn and Cindy E. Smith and her partner Amy Sheldon of Marblehead. Nancy is also survived by her devoted seven grandchildren Mike, Kayla, Ben, Abby, Sara, Libby and Brendan, 1 great grandson Jayden and many loving nieces and nephews.

She was the sister of the late William J. and Donald F. McIntosh.

Nancy’s Funeral Services will be in the CUFFE-McGINN FUNERAL HOME, 157 Maple St. Lynn Wednesday at 11:00 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours will be Tuesday 4-7 PM. Interment will be in Pine Grove Cemetery. Gifts in her memory may be made to the Kaplan Family Hospice House 75 Sylvan St. Suite B102, Danvers, MA 01923.
