Marion Sue Hay, age 84, passed away peacefully on April 10th after a long battle with declining health. Marion was a beloved wife, sister, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. Marion passed away peacefully at Artis Senior Living with her daughter and friend by her side.
Born in Boston on March 27, 1941, and grew up in Revere, MA, graduated from Revere High School and raised her family in Revere. Marion was a quite sprit full of devotion to her Catholic faith and especially The Blessed Mother. Marion loved to entertain and cook delicious Italian meals for her family and friends. In Mom’s house, there was always food and red wine! Marion was a hard worker who provided for her children as a waitress. She loved spending time in the warm climate of Florida and those who knew her may have heard her say “I’m COLD” all the time! She really enjoyed the time spent with her family, swimming, bird watching, dancing, traveling and especially cruising. She leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and a strong determination for life.
She is survived by her children, Patricia (Noseworthy) Kozik and husband Brian, James Noseworthy, Deborah Hay; her grandchildren, Amanda, Jeremy, James, Lacy, Kelsie, Collin, Ginina and Stevette and great grandchildren, Joliet, Robby, Lola, Eden, Griffin, Theo, Nora, Eliose, Cooper, Bostyn, Drayton; her sisters, Patricia Priore, Jeanne Knowlton, Emily Linder, several nieces and nephews and predeceased by her loving husband James and her sister Anne.
A funeral mass will be held on Monday, April 14, 2025, at 11:30am St. William’s Church, 1351 Main St., Tewksbury, MA. Burial will be in Florida at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. William’s Church in Marion’s memory.
