Lorraine Jean McCarthy

Born in Lynn, she was the daughter of the late George and Arlene (LeBrun) McCarthy. She attended Lynn Schools. Following her education, she worked at G.E and later worked at Stop & Shop for over 20 years, retiring in May 2015.

In her free time Lorraine loved to take long walks and spend time with her loving cats.

Lorraine is survived by her children: Frank A. Hope, IV of Salem, James P. Hope and Alicia Dedeo-King of Peabody, Christopher M. Hope and his wife Emily Hope, of Lynn. Along with all of her cherished grandchildren: James Hope, Jr., Dominic Faria, Daytonah, Aaliyah, Vivienne, Christopher Jr., and Jonah Hope.

Family and friends are invited to attend Lorraine’s Visitation on Monday, September 5, 2022 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home, 157 Maple Street, Lynn. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, September 6, 2022 at 10:30 a.m. at Cuffe-McGinn followed by interment at Pine Grove Cemetery in Lynn.
