Kevin Michael O'Keefe

Born in Salem, he was a lifelong resident of Lynn, and was the son of the late James L. and Patricia M. (Butler) O’Keefe, Jr. He graduated from Lynn English High School.

Kevin worked for Willow Laboratories in Lynn for the past 12 years.

He had a lifelong interest in trains and especially the B&M Railroad.

Kevin was a wonderful uncle and loved his niece and nephew. He also loved walking the beach.

He leaves two brothers Brian James O’Keefe of Lynn and Lawrence Patrick O’Keefe of No. Hollywood, CA, two sisters Patricia Ann Durgin and her husband David of Newburyport and Ann M. DeMars and her husband James of Amesbury, a niece Delia Marie Durgin and a nephew David Paul Durgin both of Newburyport, an aunt Eleanor Robinson of Peabody an uncle John O’Keefe of Lynn, and many cousins. He was also the grandson of the late Helen O’Keefe and nephew of the late Catherine Conners.

A Funeral Service will be held on Friday at Noon in the Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home 157 Maple Street, Lynn. Burial in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Lynn. Visiting hours Thursday 5-7 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to American Heart Assn., P. O. Box 417005, Boston, MA 02241.
