Jane M. Galante

Jane Marie Galante (née Maddison), age 78, of Lynn, passed away on Monday, May 15, 2023 surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late Robert Galante, with whom she shared 19 years of marriage. Born in Lynn, Jane was the daughter of the late Henry and Marion Maddison (née Boyle).

She was the devoted mother of Anthony Galante and Andrea Lessard; the cherished grandmother of Maddison Lessard, Joshua Lessard, Matthew Galante, Christopher Galante, and Cassidy Galante; the beloved sister of Judy Stetson and the late John Maddison and Robert Maddison; and the dear mother-in-law of Caryn Galante (née Westerberg) and Michael Lessard. She is also survived by several cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Jane was raised in and raised her family in Lynn. She enjoyed reading, watching drama programs, spending time with her dogs, and collecting teapots. She cherished her time spent with family and friends.

Visiting hours will be held on Friday, May 19, 2023 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. in the Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home, 157 Maple Street, Lynn. A funeral service for Jane will be held directly after 11:00 a.m. in the Funeral Home. Burial to immediately follow at Pine Grove Cemetery, 145 Boston St, Lynn.
