Born in Lynn, she was the daughter of the late J. Peter and Hazel (Henderson) Cennami. She graduated from Lynn Classical High School, Class of 1963 and lived in Lynn for most of her life.
Beverly worked as a spot welder at the Riverworks G.E. and retired in 2007.
She loved her family, especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed vacationing in Lake Arrowhead in North Waterboro, Maine, and was an avid fisherwoman. She also enjoyed gardening, playing Bingo, and traveling to Ireland and Italy.
She was the mother of Beverly Brown, Rose Reed, William Reed and his wife Jenny, Kim Reed, Anthony Dean and his wife Sherry, Archie Dean and his wife Kristie, Robert Sims, Jr. and his wife Jen, and the late Renee Sims. She was the sister of Diane, James, Marjorie, Karen, Patricia, Peter, Rocco, Kim, Joseph, Elizabeth Louise, and Francis. In addition she leaves 14 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours will be held in the Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home, 157 Maple Street, Lynn, on Monday, November 25, 2024 from 9AM to 11AM, followed by a prayer service at 11AM. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Lynn. Memorial Donations in her memory may be made to the Gregg Neighborhood House, 85 Exchange Street, Lynn, MA 01901 or to the Golf Program at either Lynn English High School or Lynn Classical High School.
