Vivian Strickland Gosnell, 93, of Forest passed away Tuesday, September 1, 2015, at the Runk and Pratt Nursing Home in Forest. She was the wife of the late Herman Monroe Gosnell. Born June 21, 1922, in Louisburg, NC, she was the daughter of the late Bennett Perry Strickland and the late Geneva Breedlove Strickland.
Vivian was a homemaker and a member of Thomas Road Baptist Church.
Vivian is survived by her children, Victor M. Gosnell (Martha) of Lynchburg, Thomas H. Gosnell (Ruth) of Denver, PA and Perry A. Gosnell (Marti) of Hagerstown, MD; ten grandchildren; and fifteen great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be conducted 2 p.m., Friday, September 4, 2015, at Sam's Creek Church of the Brethren Cemetery in New Windsor, MD.
Whitten Timberlake Chapel is serving the family.
