Jay Randall Davis

Jay Randall Davis, 59, of Lynchburg passed away Sunday, February 28, 2016, at his home. Jay was born June 26, 1956, a son of Nancy Dunn and the late J.T. Davis, Jr. He was preceded in death by a brother, Joseph T. “Joey” Davis, III.

In addition to his mother, Jay is survived by a brother, Brian Jeffrey Davis (Jackie); two sisters, Judith Neighbors (Lee) and Patricia Jamerson (Rodney); four nephews; three nieces; and two grand nephews. He is also survived by his soul mate, Diane Reynolds; and numerous special friends and relatives.

Jay graduated from E.C. Glass High School. He was an employee of Consolidated Equipment Erectors for 15 years until October 2015.

A graveside service will be conducted 1:00 p.m., Thursday, March 3, 2016, at Fort Hill Memorial Park with the Rev. D. Jack Hamilton officiating.

The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m., Wednesday, March 2, 2016, at Whitten Timberlake Chapel.
