Mr. Arnold will be interred at the Houston National Cemetery.
Ted attended East High School in Patterson, New Jersey. After high school, he enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1959 and proudly served 1 tour in the Republic of Vietnam where he received the Bronze Star Medal with Valor. Upon returning to the United States, he served as a Drill Sergeant at Fort Bliss, Texas. In 1985, he retired from service and began his second career as an Electronics Technician for the San Francisco Water Department. In 2005, Theodore retired and moved to Lufkin, Texas. He was a past Master for Windsor Masonic Lodge, Shriner, and an avid fisherman.
Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Carole Arnold; daughters, Katherine Arnold, Jennifer Arnold, and April Arnold; sons, Theodore Arnold IV, David Arnold, and Donald Arnold; brothers, Wayne Arnold and Bill Arnold; sister, Ann Stevenson; grandchildren, Theodore Arnold, Danielle Arnold, Madeline Arnold, Ashley Livingston, Donavan Arnold, David Arnold, Jr., and Kinley Easley; and great-grandchild, Isabelle Livingston.
Mr. Arnold was preceded in death by his parents.
The family has asked that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and Shriners Hospital.
