Patricia Ann Cherry

Services for Patricia Cherry, 63, of Lufkin, will be held at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 9, 2018 in the Gipson Funeral Home Chapel, with Link Ham officiating. Interment will follow in the Garden of Memories Memorial Park.

Patricia was born January 23, 1955 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

She passed away Friday, October 5, 2018 in a Lufkin hospital.

Patricia was a homemaker and a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, daughter and sister. She enjoyed home decorating, working in her flower bed, dancing and reading. She loved to cook and made a really good pot roast.

Survivors include her husband, Robert Cherry of Lufkin; daughter and son-in-law, Amanda Cherry and Joshua Harris of McKinney; son, Christopher Ryan Cherry of Lufkin; granddaughter, Katherine Ann Harris of McKinney; grandson, James Henry Harris of McKinney; mother and stepfather, Audie and Robert Piper of Lufkin; brother and sister-in-law, Link and Brenda Ham of Lufkin; sister and brother-in-law, Jeri and John Dulaney of Mt. Pleasant; and special friend and cousin, Kay Smith.

Patricia was preceded in death by her father, Charles Ham; and daughter, Kimberly Ryan Cherry.

Pallbearers will be Michael Smith, Keith Wideman, Joshua Harris, John Dulaney, John Ham and Christopher Cherry.

The family will receive friends from noon until 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday afternoon at the funeral home.
