Graveside services for John Allen, 63, of Pollok, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, December 29, 2022 in the Fairview Cemetery in Nacogdoches.

John was born December 15, 1959 in Nacogdoches, Texas, the son of the late Ruth (Cook) and Godfrey Allen. He passed away Sunday, December 25, 2022 at his residence.

John was a welder and a caregiver for other people. He loved westerns, fishing and playing pool and was a loving person.

He is survived by his son, Charles Allen of Longview; daughter, Crystal Hall of Pollok; 4 grandchildren; brother, Vernon Silvia of Weatherford; and sister, Penny Reihle of Lufkin.

John was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Judy Allen.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the cemetery on Thursday.
