Hester (Williams) Pinner

Funeral service for Hester Williams Pinner, 96, of Huntington, TX will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 19, 2023, in the Gipson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Alex Montilla officiating. Interment will follow at the Rocky Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. Pinner was born May 21, 1926 in Chireno, Texas, daughter of the late Nelia Perry and Rollie C. Williams. She passed away Thursday, February 16, 2023 in her home.

Hester was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved crocheting, painting, cooking, and canning. She enjoyed her westerns and living off the land. Hester loved her coffee and spending time with her grandchildren.

Survivors include daughter, Debbie White of Lufkin; daughter-in-law, Annette Fortune of Huntington; grandchildren, Kim Pinner of Houston, Kasey and husband, Sam Morton of Beach City, Kevin and wife, Paige Pinner of Diboll, and Samantha White of Lufkin; great-grandchildren, Kadence, Brooke, Ellie, and Tate; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, R.C. “Punk” Pinner; brothers, Buddy and E.T. Williams; and son, David Pinner.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Sunday afternoon at the funeral home.
