Debra was born April 26, 1956 in Baytown, Texas, the daughter of the late Evelyn Edwina (Walker) and Gerald Barclay. She passed away Thursday, August 4, 2016 in a local hospice facility.
Debra was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She enjoyed art, baking, and taking care of her rescued animals. She was a member of Carpenter’s Way Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, James McClain of Lufkin; daughter, Heather Reynolds of Houston; son, Joshua Chunn and wife Angela of Tallahassee, Florida; grandchildren, Katelyn Chunn, Jacob Chunn, Lucas Chunn, Ireland Reynolds, and Erin Reynolds; brothers, Malcolm Barclay and Gary Barclay; and nieces, Tricia Rivera, Andrea Pitre and Elaine Barclay.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Debra’s memory may be made to Hospice in the Pines, 1504 W. Frank Avenue, Lufkin, TX 75904.
