Graveside services for Danny E. Lee, 73, of Lufkin, will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday in the Mt. Zion Cemetery in Chester.

Danny was born June 9, 1949 in Lumberton, Texas, the son of the late Faith (Howell) and Carroll Lee. He passed away Friday, December 30, 2022 at his residence.

Danny was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, working on trucks with his son and antique cars. Danny proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corp.

Survivors include his daughters and sons-in-law, Tonia and Royce Adkison of Lufkin and Melissa and Jeremiah Poling of Pollok; son and daughter-in-law, Daniel Edward Lee II and Stefanie of Lufkin; grandchildren, Michael and Jeremy Lowe, Royce “Tres” Adkison and Hailey and Piper Poling; great-grandchildren, Kanon Lowe and Baylor Lowe; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Freda Lynn (Cook) Lee in 2014; and his parents.

Pallbearers will be Kenny Cook, Michael Lowe, Jeremy Lowe, Royce Adkison and Jeremiah Poling.
