Calvin "Bud" Lee Oliver

Calvin was born May 17, 1956 in Lufkin, Texas, the son of the late Jimmie Lee (Baty) and G. E. Oliver. He passed away on Friday, December 2, 2022 in a Jasper hospice facility.

Calvin was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He loved his family and enjoyed fishing, hunting, playing games and just riding the backroads. He was employed as a machine operator at the creosote plant.

He is survived by his wife, Cynthia Oliver; sons, Greg Oliver and Keith Oliver; daughter, Melissa Fennell and husband Chris; son, Wayne Douglas Duree and wife Penney; sister, Janet Cates and husband Robert; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Calvin was preceded in death by his parents; and his aunt, Maggie Mann.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until service time on Saturday at the cemetery.
