Buster Shivers

Services for Buster Shivers, 82, of Livingston will be held on Friday, March 11, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. in the Gipson Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in the Ryan Chapel Cemetery in Diboll, Texas.

Buster was born February 14, 1940 in Lufkin, Texas to Georgia Ann (Courtney) and Haskel Arnold Shivers. He passed away Saturday, March 5, 2022 in a Kingwood Hospital.

Survivors include daughters, Madilyn Fleming and husband Philip, Gwenda Shivers and husband John B. Lee, Melinda Gautreaux and significant other Roger; Grenita Duff, and Charlene Walker; sons, Edwin Shivers and Leo Shivers; grandchildren, Josh Fleming, Jennifer Johnson, John E. Lee, Buster Lee, Alicia Woodson, Cheyenne Mitchamore, Lacy Fregia, and James Morse; siblings, Dovie Mitchell and Glen Shivers. He is also survived by numerous great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Georgia Ann and Haskel Shivers; siblings, Edwin Shivers, Maxine Shivers, and Bobby Shivers.

Pallbearers will be Josh Fleming, Caleb Fleming, Buster Lee, John E. Lee, Cory Johnson and Tyler Johnson.

Honorary pallbearers will be Philip Fleming and John B. Lee.
