Wayne Lee Blaylock

Wayne Lee Blaylock, age 66, of Lubbock, died Monday, February 16, 2015. He was born in Amherst, Texas to Ralph and Viola Blaylock. Wayne had a passion for God, his family, his friends, his church family and his profession. Wayne was an avid cook; he enjoyed cooking for his family or any event that gave him a chance to socialize over his awesome bar-be-que.

He is preceded in death by his father, Ralph and his nephew, Cally Belcher.

He is survived by his mother, Viola Blaylock; his loving wife, Marian; his daughter, Jennifer (Matthew) Michna; his son, Chris Blaylock; grandchildren, Callie Renee Michna, Hudson Michna, Sydney Blaylock, Bronte Blaylock; step-daughter, Lori Black; step-sons, Lonnie (Kim) Barker, Larry Pruiett; step-grandchildren, Jerrod black, Zackery Barker, Courtney Black, Amanda Barker; his mother, Viola Blaylock; brothers, Forrest (Cynthia) Blaylock, Glenn Blaylock, David (Cindy) Blaylock; sisters, Helen (Presley) Belcher, Zula (Lance) Hopper; many nieces and nephews and close friends he considered family.

Visitation will be Sunday, February 22nd from 2-4PM at the funeral home.

Funeral services will be Monday, February 23rd at 1PM at Redbud Baptist Church, 801 Slide Road, Lubbock, Texas.
