Victor O. Davis, Sr., 89, of Lubbock, passed away peacefully on Saturday evening, July 9, 2016. He was born on July 11, 1926 in Decatur, TN. He served his country in the US Army during WWII. Victor married Janie Bookout on April 12, 1952, in Clovis, NM.
He is survived by his loving wife, Janie of Lubbock; his son, Whiz Davis and wife, Cindi of Lubbock; grandchildren: Erica (Jonathan) Cluff, Krista (Ethan) Dalley, Jeremy (Nicole) Davis, Nathan (Joanna) Davis and Shanna (Dane) Arnold; great-grandchildren: Davis, Emma, Jonah, Wesley, Liam and Jane Cluff, Brynlee, Addyson, Trey, Kayden and Gavyn, Dalley, Spencer, Presley and Kevin Davis and Olivia Arnold.
