Celebration of life services for Robert D. Robinson will be held at 1 pm, Wed, January 11, 2012 at Resthaven Funeral Home’s Abbey Chapel with Richard Craven officiating. Interment with military honors will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park. A visitation will be held from 6 to 7 pm Tuesday, January 10, 2012 at Resthaven Funeral Home.
He passed from this life Saturday, January 7, 2012.
Robert Dell Robinson was born March 17, 1933 in Little Rock, Arkansas to the late Elmer and Willie Robinson. He served in the United States Marine Corp until his retirement. He then was employed by the Plains Cotton Cooperative Association until his retirement. He was preceded in death by his sister, LaVerne Smail.
Those left to honor and cherish his memory are his brother; Bill Robinson, of Lubbock, sisters; Mary Geiger of Lubbock, Betty Hedge of Zansville, Ohio and numerous nieces and nephews.
