Robert “Bob” Barnett, 88, of Lubbock passed away on January 8, 2012.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 10, 2012 at 10 AM at Bacon Heights Baptist Church, burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be on Monday, January 9, 2012 from 6-8 PM at Resthaven Funeral Home.
Bob served in the U.S. Army during WWII; he was a member of the Paralyzed Veterans of America, and a member of Bacon Heights Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife; Oleta Barnett of Lubbock, two sons; Larry Barnett and his wife Diane of Fritch and Tony Barnett and his wife Kelly of Lubbock, 5 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and one brother; Joe Barnett of Amarillo.
