Patricia (Patsy) was born July 14th 1941 to
Frank J Johnson and Olean Johnson in Mesa, Arizona
Patsy later at age 16 met and married Jack Taylor and together they had four children, Dianna Brown, Brian Rivard Taylor, Jessie Ketterling and James Taylor.
Patsy and Jack raised their children in Poston-Parker Arizona where they watched their children grow up and become parents themselves.
Patsy lost her husband Jack in in January 1981. At age 40 after her husband’s death she attended college in Parker Arizona and received her G.E.D. She then worked at Parker Community Hospital as a clerk in the E.R. department and this is also when she learned to drive. Later Patsy moved to Blythe California and went to work at Palo Verde Hospital
as a clerk in the E.R. Department .Patsy was later promoted to the Billing Department where she worked until she retired. Patsy met her second husband during this time.
Patsy loved attending the Pentecostal Church in Blythe California. Patsy was active in the Singles Group in the church.
Patsy loved arts and crafts, music and she loved being with her family and grandchildren.
Patsy was her siblings 2nd Mom because we spent a lot of time with her growing up and she looked after us and made sure we were taken care of.
One of Patsy's favorite foods was eating a fresh tomato with salt. Patsy loved making her stuffing and Fruit Salad for the holidays.
Patsy is survived by her son Brian Rivard Taylor, daughter-in law Cheryl Rivard,and her siblings Colean Von Hagn, Frankie Johnson, Theda Camden, Sharilyn Wiley, Barbara Carter and Marie Hamilton. Grandchildren David, Becky, Jackie, Shauna, Matt, Sarah, Jammie, Danielle, Jack and Cliff and numerous great grandkids and nieces and nephews..
Patsy was preceded in death by her mother Olean Johnson and Frank J Johnson and brother Gary Johnson and husbands Jack Taylor and Andy Tunnell, and her daughters Dianna Brown and Jessie Ketterling and granddaughter Amber Taylor.
Patsy passed away peacefully at Bender Care in Lubbock Texas. Patsy will be buried in Blythe, California with private family service.
The family would like to thank her son Brian and Cheryl for taking such good care of
Her in her final days and making her life happy.
Patsy will be missed by her entire family but we know that she is in God's hands and was welcomed with open arms from God and her family.
