Melvin Dean Robertson was born June 11, 1940 in Amarillo, Texas to Helen Louise and Melvin Foster Robertson.
Dean was a yell leader for the first graduating class of Tascosa High School in 1958. Dean is survived by his wife Marilyn Robertson, a son and daughter in law Cheryl and Phil Robertson of Gainesville, Florida, a son and daughter in law Laura and Todd Robertson of Richardson, Texas, and a daughter and son in law, Carrie and Stephen Shockley of Lufkin, Texas. He has 11 wonderful grandkids who love their Pop not because they had to but because their Pop was a true source of humor and laughter in all of our lives.
We will miss him here but we know he is no longer in pain and enjoying the promise of a life well lived.
