Marilyn will be remembered for her joy and passion for singing. She was the director of the Prairie Winds Chapter Sweet Adelines for numerous years.
She is survived by her daughters, Janice (Phillip) Scott and Carolyn (Bart) Poe; her 6 grandchildren:Brian Scott, Michael Scott, Brandye Glenn-Minnie, Kristi Poe, David Poe, Mikayla Scott; 5 great-grandchildren: Micah Sclott, Zack Scott, Avery Glenn, Drake Glenn, Henley Glenn; and her sister Carleeta Ambrose. She was also preceded in death by her loving husband of almost 50 years, Jess Dickey. Her loving voice, kind spirit and love for all will be missed dearly.
Her life will be celebrated with a visitation on Monday, December 12, 2022 from 5pm-7pm at Resthaven Funeral Home. A Memorial service will follow on Tuesday, December 13, 2022 at 1100am in Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel.
