Larry Severo Gonzales

Larry Severo Gonzales, 72, of Lubbock, passed away on July 27, 2010. Memorial services will be held at 10am on Saturday, July 31, 2010, at Resthaven’s Abbey Chapel. Please join us in celebrating Larry’s life by visiting his memorial at www.resthavenfuneralhome.com. Larry was born in Alamosa, Colorado, to Manuel and Celestina Gonzales. In 1962 he earned a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from the University of Colorado in Boulder. After moving to Lubbock in 1976, he was a pharmacist for Furrs and Albertsons until his retirement in 1999. During retirement, our loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend enjoyed traveling the Western United States, Canada, and Mexico with his wife of 45 years, Sheila Wadeson Gonzales. Others left behind to cherish his memories are: daughter, Brenda Gronlund and husband Jack of Aurora, Colorado; sons: Kelly Gonzales and wife Mona of Portland, Oregon, and Sean Gonzales and wife Sam of Wolfforth; mother, Celestina of Alamosa; and seven grandchildren: Alex, Jackie, Miranda, Reed, Joshua, Taylor, and Courtanie.
