Hunter Vance Buck, 23, died in a traffic accident near Henderson,Texas, on May 4, 2013. Hunter is survived by his parents, Gehrig and Amanda Buck, and his brother, Alan Buck. He also leaves behind a host of other relatives, many of them from Lubbock, and a large number of good friends and loved ones.
Hunter was born in Amarillo in January 22, 1990. He was graduated from Bastrop High School in 2008. He went on to attend Stephen F.Austin University in Nacogdoches. A pre-law student, he was presidentof the Tau Kappa Epsilon Fraternity at the time of his death. Hunter loved to fish and be outdoors. He was popular with his classmates and had many friends. He was always cheerful, pleasantand well-met.
Viewing will be Thursday from Noon until 7 pm and Friday from 10am until service time. The family will receive visitors Thursday from 5 to 7 pm at Resthaven Funeral Home, 5740 W. 19th Street, Lubbock, Texas. Funeral services will be Friday May 10, 2013, at 4 pm in the Abbey Chapel at Resthaven Funeral Home.
