Hugo V Diego

He was born February 7, 1926 in Puebla, Mexico to the late Francisco and Virginia Diego. Hugo came to the United States in 1946 in search of a better life. He returned to Mexico to find the love of his life, Rosa Melo Diego. They were married in 1960 and shortly after returned to the United States.

Hugo was a professional dry cleaner for more than 60 years. He was very good at what he did and was highly regarded for his experience in dry cleaning. He was a hard worker and at times worked multiple jobs to support his family.

He is preceded in death by his first wife, Rosa Melo Diego and his second wife, Goldie Lyons.

Left to cherish his memory and honor his legacy, two daughters: Anna Rosa Barrera and son in law Eric Barrera of Goodyear, AZ; Dr. Elsa Maria Diego-Medrano and son in law David R. Medrano of Amarillo, TX. He adored and loved his grandchildren, Michael Barrera, Zachary Barrera, David D. Medrano, Marisa Medrano, and Marc Anthony Medrano.
